Easy to use websites
Web designers without much experience won't have a word to say about usability. Usability covers a lot of fancy terms like information architecture and user experience design. Basically, it means how easy your site is to use and understand. Obviously, it's one of our top goals. A lot of the best techniques for making a good website are obvious, but many other designers don't care about making a good website, they care about making a pretty one.
What makes a good website?
A site that accomplishes its goals efficiently is a good website. For example, a website for a concert tells you who's playing, where and when it is, and how to get tickets. We talk to you about what your website's goals are and tailor your site around them.
What is this?
There are a lot of questions people ask themselves when they get to a website. "What is this?" and "what does it do?" are the most common. Our website designs answer these questions before your users get a chance to think about it.
What we won't do
Web designers have great eyesight. They love small fonts and buttons because they look great. We disagree. Our number one goal is that your site makes sense and is easy to use. That means:
- No tiny fonts you need a magnifying glass to read.
- No tiny buttons you can't click on.
- No splash pages slowing your clients down.
- No brown text on a black background.
- Nobody asking themselves "should I click here?"
- Nobody scratching their heads trying to find your phone number or a map to your place.
You don't want your customers hunched over the computer, trying to read what your site says. Neither do we. We make your website easy to use and easy to look at.
